103 playing cards (11 picture cards)
92 Risk & Rewards cards
6 player tokens
Aim of The Game
The aim is to be the first player to move their token player to 100 using the roll of the dice.
BEFORE THE Game BEGINS
Place the board on a table. Elect a player to manage the cards. The elected player shuffles the Risk & Rewards cards and places them face down. The elected player then sorts the picture cards in the order of the board. Each player rolls the dice once, the highest roll determines who goes first. The turn passes clockwise.
HOW TO PLAY OPENING THE GAME
Each player rolls the dice to decide which player token they wil l use in the game.
1 = Footballer 2 = Tennis Player 3 = Mountaineer
4 = Grand Prix Driver 5 = Sky Diver 6 = Horse Rider
The player with the highest roll of the di ce goes first and the rest of the players follow in order clockwise.
Each player starts off the board and rolls the dice once and advances their player token the number of spaces shown on the face of the dice before the next player rolls the dice.
If the players token lands on its own picture on the board you will get an extra roll of the dice once you have completed the action.
If the player lands on a Risk & Rewards space, the elected player picks the appropriate card and reads the instruction on the reverse side of the card for the player to action.
If the player lands on a picture card the elected player selects the matching picture action card and reads the instruction on the reverse side of the card for the player to action.
If the players token lands on more than one Risk & Rewards card or picture card the actions must be completed before the next player rolls the dice.
This is the most exciting aspect to playing Risk & Rewards as some Risk & Rewards cards require the remaining players participation to award the success of the task.
Players have a time limit to complete the task.
Within the Risk & Rewards cards are “Free Pass” cards, which entitle the player to use this pass once for either an exchange of a picture card or Risk & Reward card. The player must redeem the “Free Pass” card before attempting the task.
Make the most of each task to advance up the board with your player token. Keeping a free pass may also be a good strategy - although one risks being caught out with the roll of the dice. It is all about Risks & Rewards.
